Have students create a "Water Demand" foldable that includes four sections:
Conclusion:
Have students display their foldable and then as a class do a gallery walk to observe students' work.

- Give a scenario for a Think-Pair-Share: Here is one gallon of water. This is all the water we have for the class for the day. What should we do with this water?
- Read book, Common Ground.
Have students create a "Water Demand" foldable that includes four sections:
- Why is water a limited resource?
- Why do all living things need water?
- What human actions affect our supply of water?
- What are conservation practices that conserve water?
Conclusion:
Have students display their foldable and then as a class do a gallery walk to observe students' work.
